There are many lodging options in Kansas City for convention attendees, and if you’re looking for a hotel, registration will open on March 3. In order to register for a hotel, you must already be registered for convention.

We want to make sure you’ve got all the info you need at your fingertips, so here’s the 411 on lodging on the KC convention center.

Hotels

The Convention Planning team has contracted with a number of hotels in the area immediately surrounding the convention center. Hotel registration will open March 3, 2015.

Campgrounds

If hotels aren’t your scene or you’re looking for a lower cost option, there are several campgrounds and RV parks within quick driving distance of the convention center.

Jackson County Parks campgrounds, well known around the nation, attract campers from all 48 continental states each year. With more than 250 camping sites, there’s almost always an available spot to set up camp. The popularity of these campgrounds is enhanced by all the attractions available to campers, including beaches, boating, full-service marinas, nature trails, golf and more are only minutes away from the campgrounds.

Walnut Grove RV Park, 10218 Johnson Dr. Merriam, KS 66203 features 54 sites in a great “in town” campground location. Full hookup sites, 30 and 50 amp, laundry, wireless Internet and a community room. We have daily and monthly rates and are open all year. Close to all attractions and Downtown — just off I-35 (exit 229) on Johnson Drive. (10 miles from KCC).
