Worship at MennoCon19 will be slightly different than previous conventions. Junior youth, youth, youth sponsors and adults will all worship together. The Grand Ballroom provides an intimate worship setting, and Seth Crissman will lead the worship band.
Stay tuned! Speakers and more information will be coming as plans are finalized.
New Equipping sessions offer a unique spin on seminars. We are designing these to equip our participants with “something to take home” like knowledge, skills, certifications and valuable resources that are useful in personal, congregational and conference settings. We are also increasing the time for these sessions to 90 minutes to allow for deeper engagement.
Topics and leaders will be listed in fall 2018.
New Community Groups will provide time for peers and affinity groups to gather together (examples include youth, young adults, women in leadership, youth pastors, conference leaders, etc.). Youth community groups will gather for a time of input and then split into individual youth groups for continued conversation. Adult community groups will gather with others of similar interest. A leader will get the conversations started, and groups can take the conversation wherever they choose.
More information will be listed in fall 2018.
